The To Do List now provides more information about why a show did not or will not record. This will help customers identify scheduling conflicts, shows that have changed times, or when someone in their household has cancelled a recording. You can also manage the To Do List online in your account at TiVo.com.

   
Note Icon

Once inside the To Do List, use the red C button on your remote to toggle between viewing all listings, only listings that have conflicts, or only listings which will record.

 

What do the icons mean?

 

Icon

Meaning

Single blue checkmark

This is an individual recording

Double blue checkmark

This is Season Pass or manual repeating recording

Two blue checks with a star

This is a Collection or WishList recording

Computer icon

This is an individual or Season Pass received from one of the following online sources: the discontinued BlackBerry app or Android Apps, TiVo.com, or Zap2It

Red X

Scheduling conflict

Gray X

Show has been canceled by someone in the home or the TiVo

Note: Do not confuse this with the gray X which occasionally appears in My Shows when you delete a show.

 

How do I use the To Do List?

 
  • Press Select on a recording that has a red X or a gray X to view information about the recording, as well as give you regular and Season Pass options and View upcoming episodes.

  • Press Info on a recording that has a red X to open the Conflict screen to see what is conflicting.

  • Press Info on a recording that has a gray X to open the Canceled screen to see why a show did not or will not record.

Press Select on any program to see available options.

How do I remove scheduled recordings from the To Do List?

 

You might wish to record the program if it airs at a different time. You can see other air times by looking at the program's description. From the To Do List, select the recording you would like to view, and then select View Upcoming Episodes. To remove a scheduled recording from the To Do List, perform the following steps:

 
  • Go to the To Do List.

  • From the To Do List screen, select the recording you would like to remove and press Clear on the TiVo Remote Control. On the Cancel Recording screen, select Cancel now.
