*Wireless connections based on 3G, 4G, 4G LTE, newer or similar technologies are not supported for connecting a TiVo DVR to the internet.
Dial-up/ Phone connections is not supported.
Connect to a network
These articles help you set up your home network and connect your TiVo devices to the network. Choose the type of network you are using to see installation instructions.
General network connection

Wired connection (Ethernet)
TiVo recommends a wired Ethernet connection to guarantee the highest quality performance from your DVR. For instructions on setting up a wired Ethernet network, see How to Connect a TiVo Device to Your Network.
Point of Entry (POE) filter needs to be installed as well even when the setup is only for Ethernet connections.
MoCA network
If you don't have a wired Ethernet connection available to your TiVo devices, you can use a MoCA network instead. See MoCA Connection for instructions on setting up a MoCA network.
Some internet providers offer their customers MoCA-enabled routers. These routers do not require a MoCA Network Adapter.
Wireless network

TiVo Mini does not support a wireless connection. Use a wired Ethernet or MoCA connection instead.
Phone connection
TiVo no longer supports Dial-up/ Phone connections.
