TiVo Experience 4: Guide

The GRID GUIDE is accessible by pressing the Guide button on the remote control. The TiVo Experience 4 Grid Guide functions the same way as the existing User Interface Grid Guide.

Pressing the Replay or Advance button jumps forward or back a day. Pressing the Rewind or Fast Forward button forwards or backs by page. Selecting a channel brings up the Channel Options overlay. Pressing the Banner Ad at the bottom brings up the Program Description page.

Grid Guide is compatible with the latest version of TiVo Experience 4 on the following devices:

 

• TiVo EDGE Series

• TiVo BOLT Series

• TiVo Roamio Series

• TiVo Mini Series

Full Guide

  
  

1. From Live TV, press the Guide button to display the TiVo Live Guide.

2. Press the yellow 'A' button.

3. Highlight an option, and then press the Left/Right Arrows to change it.

     

   • Date - Use to display a future day in the program guide (up to two weeks in the future, depending on program information).
       

   • Time - Use to jump to a specific time in the future in the program guide.
       

   • Show category - Use the Left/Right Arrows to choose different categories from the Guide (All Shows, Movies, Sports, Kids and News).
       

   • Channels - The Program Guide will display only those channels on the channel list. The Channel Up/Down button will only tune to those channels, as well.
       

     1. All: Shows ALL the channels in your lineup – even if you do not receive the channel.

     2. Favorites: Only shows the channel you selected as favorites.

     3. My Channels: Only shows the checked channels in your Channel List.
          

   • Show channel logos: Use the Left/Right Arrows to turn On/Off the channel logos.

4. Press the Left Arrow to accept your changes. To cancel your changes, press Clear.

TiVo Mini Guide

 
 

1. While watching Live TV, press the Select button.

2. You can sort the Mini Guide by channel name or number by pressing the blue 'B'.

3. To exit, press Clear.

TiVo Experience 4: Faster Guide Scrolling

 
  

This feature improves Guide scrolling by updating only the channel only the channel logos and adding support for the channel UP/DOWN button.

 

Pressing and holding the UP/DOWN button or the channel UP/DOWN button on the remote control will scroll faster than what a single button press does. The program area does not update until the button is released.

How to Add Channels to My List of Favorites

 

 

1. Navigate to the Channel List screen:

    

   Devices on the TiVo Experience 4 (software version: 21.X. or later)
    

   TiVo Series	Menu path from HOME
   TiVo EDGE TiVo BOLT TiVo Roamio	MENU > SETTINGS > CHANNEL SETTINGS > CHANNEL LIST

     

2. Use the Up Arrow and Down Arrow to choose the channel you wish to mark as a favorite.

3. Press SELECT to check/ uncheck channels you don't receive or don't want to watch.

4. Press ENTER if this is the wrong channel lineup.

How to View Your Favorite Channels

 
 

1. Navigate to the Favorite Channels screen:

    

   Devices on the TiVo Experience 4 (software version: 21.X. or later)
     

   TiVo Series	Menu path from HOME
   TiVo EDGE TiVo BOLT TiVo Roamio	MENU > SETTINGS > CHANNEL SETTINGS > FAVORITE CHANNELS

   
      

2. Use the Up Arrow and Down Arrow to choose the channel you wish to mark as a favorite.

3. Press OK/ SELECT to check/ uncheck channels as a favorite. Then you can choose to display only your favorite channels in the Guide.
